Shipping Policy – FOB (Free on Board) Condition

Lufer uses FOB (Free on Board) freight terms. This means that the seller's liability ends when the goods are delivered to the agreed-upon location (factory, warehouse, or other designated point). From that point on, all costs and risks related to transportation are the buyer's responsibility.

1. General Conditions

The merchandise will be made available at Lufer's address or at another previously agreed location.

The buyer is responsible for contracting transportation and paying directly to the chosen carrier.

The vehicle will be loaded by Lufer, ensuring the integrity of the material until the load is completed.

2. Lufer's Responsibilities

Make the merchandise available as ordered, within the agreed deadline.

Ensure the correct packaging and storage of the product to allow safe transportation.

Inform the buyer in advance of the date and time for collection.

3. Buyer's Responsibilities

Hire and bear all transportation costs, insurance (if desired) and other logistical charges after pickup.

Ensure that the contracted carrier is able and authorized to carry out the collection.

Assume all risks of loss, damage or misplacement from the moment the cargo is delivered to the carrier.

4. Deadlines and Scheduling

The buyer must schedule the pickup from Monday to Friday from 1:30 pm to 6:00 pm. If the carrier does not appear within the stipulated time, it will be necessary to reschedule as described above.

5. Cargo Insurance

Shipping insurance is the sole responsibility of the buyer.

Lufer is not responsible for any damage, loss or accidents that occur after delivery of the goods to the carrier.

6. Exceptions

In specific situations and upon formal agreement, Lufer may assist in indicating partner carriers, without assuming responsibility for the transportation.

Any change to the FOB condition must be recorded in writing between the parties.
