Founded in 1975 by Luiz Carlos Slivak, a Caterpillar® equipment specialist, Lufer was born to address the shortage of spare parts for heavy equipment, which until then were only available through imports. The lack of these parts leaves many machines idle, resulting in significant losses. It was from this need that Lufer began its work of nationalizing and developing spare parts, first for Caterpillar® equipment and then for major brands and models on the market, such as Komatsu®, Liebherr®, Bucyrus®, LeTourneau®, Hyundai®, Volvo®, John Deere®, Cummins, and others.

Beyond Brazil, Lufer products have conquered major global markets, including the US, Europe, and Latin America, becoming synonymous with quality, performance, and reliability. With a specialized, multidisciplinary, and committed team, boasting over 49 years of experience, Lufer is relentless and constantly innovating. Today, it offers its capabilities in creating solutions not only for earthmoving and mining equipment, but also develops products and offers services for key sectors that drive the country, such as mining, forestry, ports, railways, logistics, and heat treatment.
The company's headquarters are located in São José dos Pinhais, in the metropolitan region of Curitiba, Paraná, strategically connected to the ports of Paranaguá, Itajaí, and Santos, as well as the highways that transport its products from the south to the north of the country, as well as Afonso Pena International Airport. This provides a direct connection to Brazil and major global markets.
